Transport: Room temperature.
Handling: Collect blood specimens in regular serum or SST® (plastic) and separate the serum immediately. Do not use hemolyzed or icteric samples. Sample may be drawn in an SST® red-top glass tube, but not submitted in this tube..

Notes: 

Clinical Indications: LH is useful in evaluating gonadal dysfunction and assessing ovulation and infertilitly. LH is ofter interpreted with other laboratory tests such as follicle stimulating hormone (FSH).
