Unacceptable conditions: Chylous serum; gross bacterial contamination; Plasma should be avoided since fibrin may result in the appearance of nonspecific precipitation, which may adversely affect interpretation
Stability: Serum Refrigerated (preferred) 21 days; Ambient 21 days; Frozen 21 days
