Clinical Indications: Ganglioside GD1a antibody IgG is associated with acute motor axonal neuropathy, sometimes followed by Campylobacter jejuni infections. Ganglioside GD1a antibody IgG can aid in the diagnosis of acute motor axonal neuropathy variant of Guillain-Barre syndrome.
